Whipworm-Trichuris Trichiura
The digestive system for a whipworm is very different than other worms within its phylum. The difference being that the digestive system is entirely contained within the worms head. The food like most animals is taken in through its mouth. The food then goes through the pharynx, and into the intestine. The food releases into pores, but instead of being released throughout the anus, the mouth is the main hole in the worm so the food is released through there.
