Vampire Squid
The vampire squid, despite there name sounding like blood sucking creatures. They are almost the exact opposite, they are known as the sea's garbage disposal. There digestive system consist of the same things as normal squid a mouth, anus and complex stomach. Food is taken up by cells lining the digestive glands arising from the stomach, then is passed into the blood. Using long, skinny tendrils called filaments, vampire squid catch detritus hovering in the sea. Anything from crustacean legs, eyes and even larvae poop.
