Fire Coral
The Fire Coral is a type of coral that feeds on food such as shrimp and plankton. The Fire Coral uses its tentacles around its mouth to catch its prey and transport it to its mouth. After it enters the mouth, the food goes to the stomach cavity. It then become surrounded by mesenteries which are digestive membranes that increase the surface area of the stomach cavity. The food that cannot be digested will go back up the stomach cavity and filter out of the mouth. Corals do not have a anus to excrete waste products.
